Watch a tour of this backyard garden in Arizona

Angela from Growing in the Garden takes viewers on a quick tour of her garden in Mesa, Arizona, which is in zone 9B. The garden is in transition from a hot summer to cooler temperatures in fall, with some summer crops still flourishing and fall plantings struggling. The star of the garden is a loofah vine, which is producing beautiful blossoms and fruit. Angela has already planted some fall crops, including broccoli and cabbage, and plans to add more herbs and flowers. She is also growing cucamelons, dwarf delicata squashes, beans, basil, peppers, celery, cabbage, kale, passion fruit vine, and purple bean vine. Angela has added compost to the garden to feed the soil and is letting some struggling plants go to see what survives. The garden experienced a windstorm that ripped down one side of the sunshade, but she plans to put it back up when temperatures rise again. Overall, the garden is a work in progress, but Angela is excited to see what grows and harvests in the coming months.
