Watch how this soapmaker turns nature into skincare products

Colleen Sinclair is an artist-turned-organic skincare creator who uses local, wild-harvested ingredients to create her products. She believes that skincare is important for overall health and uses only natural ingredients, avoiding synthetic and toxic substances. Her products include the Creosote soap, made from a plant that has been used in skincare for psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea, and the Juniper soap, which is great for sensitive and acne-prone skin. Sinclair also uses jojoba oil in many of her products due to its similarity to the skin's natural sebum. She has created a sunblock called Superstition Sunrise, which contains prickly pear cactus seeds that are high in vitamin E oil and naturally sun protective. Sinclair creates her products with a specific purpose in mind and uses ingredients that contribute to that purpose. She formulates and handcrafts every product sold in her Apothecary, which has over 100 different recipes. Sinclair believes that skincare is a crucial aspect of overall health, and she strives to create products that are both effective and safe for consumers.
