The challenge
Growing in the Garden built an audience by answering a specific need: how to garden in Arizona's hot, dry climate. As the blog and YouTube channel grew, filming and editing became a substantial demand on the business.
Equipment costs, technical work, and time spent in post-production competed with writing, planning, product development, and partnerships. The goal was to keep publishing useful content without letting production consume the schedule.
Our approach
Start with a complete documentary
The relationship began with a mini-documentary built around practical gardening tips. The film introduced the gardening expertise to new viewers and established how we would plan, film, and edit together.
Build an ongoing working rhythm
We continued with YouTube production and photography. Growing in the Garden focused on subject knowledge, scripts, and content planning; Paragraphic handled filming and editing. Visual material could then be used across YouTube and Instagram.
Create a useful photography library
Custom images supported the website as well as social publishing. The images gave the brand a consistent look across articles and its refreshed website.
